From Golf Magazine (May 2011)
We tested: 60°/8° with True Temper Dynamic Gold wedge flex steel shaft
Key Technologies: The clubhead’s “reverse taper” design (thicker top) creates a higher CG for lower flight and more spin. The wide “H sole” has heel relief to open the face easily. The “M sole” has a higher bounce angle with a more forward bounce position.
OUR TESTERS SAY: Soft-feeling, attractive club for better players who want to manufacture shots.
PLAYABILITY: Ample versatility on greenside shots and very good from the fairway; performs well on flops and partial swings due to sole grind and compact head.
DISTANCE CONTROL: The yardage is what you’d expect on full shots; the club is quite accurate on chips and pitches; adequate from sand.
FEEL: Soft, forged sensation at impact is a big plus; extra weight makes it easy to swing; well-balanced head.
LOOK: Compact head with black finish is an attractive package next to the ball; no distracting elements to speak of.
Not as easy to hit consistently well as others; mis-hits feel too harsh for some.
