Yamaha introduces the new 2012 Z Cavity Irons. The Z Cavity is designed for the average to higher handicapped golfers or players with a slower swing speed. It is made for maximum forgiveness and ease. The Z Cavity features a larger and rounder head compared to the other lines of Yamaha irons. The increased hitting area and rounded shape makes it easier for a solid contact out of any condition. It also features a wider sole with deeper pocket cavity design, which allows for maximum forgiveness and versatility from any lie. The deeper pocket cagity also absorbs vibration, makin the Z Cavity very easy on the hands and wrist. The increased offset allows the club head to square up easier and prevents the dreaded slice for many agerage golfers.
The Z Cavity also features added weighting to the bottom of the sole for maximum ease of achieving a higher and stronger ball flight. It has a 2mm maraging face which adds durability and assures maximum energy transfer for maximum energy transfer and increased ball speed. The slightly thicker and rounder design along with the durable ultra thin maraging face makes the Z Cavity a great match for those with slower swing speeds and seeking a more steady and stronger ball flight.
It comes standard with the TBX 512i Carbon shaft in Regular or Stiff/Regular flex. This is an original Yamaha shaft which helps produce a high launch angle and a stong ball flight for consistent distance and trajectory.
